Issues & Political Concerns
Lisa Carter upholds many core values, one of them being the fight for social justice where it is needed. We need to live in a society where people do not merely support progressive change, but fight for it. Read on to learn more of the issues facing Vote Lisa Carter and how they plan to overcome them.
Our Families
Quality public education and recreational programs are a necessity for our children to thrive. Teachers across Michigan are overworked, underpaid, and under-supported at a time when we need them the most. Lisa will fight to ensure that teachers are properly compensated
and have the resources they need to educate our children.
Our Seniors
Our seniors need quality programs and services that are both accessible and easy-to-navigate to stay safe, healthy, and thriving. Lisa will advocate for programs that truly support our long-standing citizens.
Our Workers
Inflation and job opportunities are impacting our life. As your commissioner, Lisa will invest time, ideas and budget dollars in education, innovation, and infrastructure to mobilize working people.
Our Communities
From our crumbling roads to our drinking water, our infrastructure is in need of help. Lisa will fight for critical county road repairs, access to safe and affordable drinking water, clean air, and safer neighborhoods to raise our families.
